ביקרנו במוזיאון מדאם טוסו (ביקור חובה למי שלא היה), עלינו לרכבת ונסענו לכיוון מבשלת הבירה הייניקן בו ניתן לראות איך מיצרים את הבירה ובנוסף לשתות כמה כוסות בכייף. כסיימנו הלכנו כמה דקות ברגל והגענו לשוק "אלברט קייפ מרקט", שוק נחמד מאוד בו אשפר למצוא הכל ובמחירים סבירים.
הארוחות באמסטרדם לא חייבות להיות גורמה, מספיק לזלול ברשתות האוכל המהיר המוכרות (רטבים מהווים תוספת למחיר הארוחה), יחד עם נגיעות של אוכל אסייתי, פיצות וכדומה.
